ESPN Rankings 2/8
Think they can't figure out what to do with us? -
11. Baylor 17-5 537
12. Oklahoma 16-6 511
13. Texas A&M 16-5 510
14. Texas 16-6 475
15. Oklahoma State 18-5 436
Also, Nebraska #4 and Iowa State #20, but I was entertained by 11-15.

Actually, Nebraska is "3", not "4"!! We moved past Notre Dame into the 3rd spot.

Luv the 11- 15 bunching. It's like they are saying ...OK, Big 12 south teams, ...go beat each other up and work it out and when you're all done, we'll agree with you.

Sorry, Matt - I would never intentionally underplay how very well Nebraska is doing! Makes me proud to see Big 12 so well represented.

I think you're right.
It's like [this block set aside for the B12 South (or B12 teams who are not named Nebraska)]

Or Iowa State.
Congratulations to on being ranked number 3. Keep it up, Huskers. I can't believe I'm saying that.

I'm not a Huskers fan, but they belong to the fraternity, and they are in a land where no Big 12 team has gone, and I'm frankly having a whole lot of fun watching this amazing story develop as whole fabric out of the cloudy mists.
We won't be the only people cheering on Nebraska if they continue to succeed like this. The number of people that would cheer on Nebraska at the Final Four (and that's a real question, about if they are that good) would easily exceed any other team, and that includes you-know-who.

Hey, I know it! I gorilla-finger so many things, it isn't even funny! I'll tell you this much: something we all have talked about is how supportive the other teams have been in the league (when we aren't playing them, of course!) This really is a fantastic league!

If Nebraska makes it to the final 4 - I'm IN San Antonio! One nice thing about being a fan of one of the big reds, I'll at least have something to wear. My experience is that getting a ticket at the last minute isn't all that much of a problem - if you have the cash and don't mind waiting until the first game starts before being talked into that great discount deal.
I was excited for and proud of Baylor when they made it but somehow, this is VERY different - excitement times 4 at least. Who woulda thunk! Maybe you and Yori but certainly not yours truly. I never saw it coming and I think that is half of the magic - that and the fact that Connie seems like one of the good ones.
(Howsomeever, I will STILL be picking OU in Pickum when Nebraska comes to town and be preparred to dance in the streets if we are the first to come away with a victory - )

Now if ISU could just kick up a couple of notches, we'd be good. Course it would be more fun to be #3-#9
KU could also be here were it not for their injuries.
Good job by the Big 12 to have 7 ranked teams.
Matt: I think everyone is enjoying the Huskers ride because they're ours. They're having a blast and it shows -- I haven't had this much fun watching basketball and following a team in ages!

Somehow it's much easier for me to root for a North team - if it's a South team, i have all that jealousy, rivalry, barely disguised hostility, why not us, i can't stand your coach, remember what happened when we played in 1953 and so and so xxx'd so and so and I'll never forgive your team for that...junk. Now for a North team, I can just say yee-haw, look at how great the Big 12 is!

There ya go. As a fellow South fan, I couldn't agree more!
Just as long as we are talking about NEBRASKA, OK?
