Monique Smalls just picked up her 3rd foul.
Chyna Brown took an elbow and was taken to the locker room bleeding
Roberson and Murphree are attacking...I like it.
Barncastle and Ashton getting some time

Roberson gets the steal, the bucket and the foul and the free throw and the "oh yes! celebration" and then Raven buries the 3 to end the half.
43-32 Texas halftime

Points off turnovers 17-8.
Winning turnovers 5-10.
only shooting 36.1% overall to the horns 56.5%

Raven is workin her butt off, on both ends- taking a beating with that skinny frame, but plays physical the whole time.
TX now 11-20 from BTA
Kat Nash does not shy away from contact down pow either. For her size she holds her own in the paint and then some.

and although all of that is good, we're losing because we can't guard worth a damn BTA and we're making some poor decisions. Tech is just throwing themselves at the ball.

Kat Nash is a keeper...what a hard and savvy worker she is.

Smalls fouls out at the 6:34 mark
She's a keeper too..hard worker, not afraid of contact on either end, needs to make more mature decisions, but can't fault her effort.

Now Hyde fouls out
71-45 Texas 4:19
I see talent and fundamentals among the Tech players...but NOT as a team. Our team fundamentals are poor...they don't seem to know where each other is on the court, they are not playing with much energy, there's no energy on the bench, we're just flinging the ball at the basket

Murphree fouls out....
this is NOT why you came to play at Texas Tech was it Jordan? My sorrow
No confidence in their shots, no energy in their shots...
finally Roberson gets a basket
Got to hand it to Texas, nice job!

All but over here at the Drum. Tech just can't buy a bucket and fouling in frustration.
Loving Cokie Reed's agression.
Tech's bigger problem is virtually no anchor in the paint. Barncastleand Roberson are many things but they are not post players.

Smalls, Hyde, Murphree, and Roberson fouled out.
Mallard suspended and did not play.
Brown went out hurt.
I think the Lady Raiders were down to their last five players for the final minute.
