Baylor's Brittney Griner was named both the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player and Freshman of the Week by a media voting panel for games from Feb. 1-7. Griner earned her first award as player of the week and was chosen freshman of the week for the sixth time. She is the second freshman in league history to pick up both awards in the same week.
