Just spoke with my source in Baton Rouge and Simone Augustus has signed with LSU. She had Duke, LSU and Tennessee waiting by the phones today for her announcement. She waited until today, which is her BIRTHDAY!!! LSU is going to be tough next year. GEAUX TIGERS...............

like Duke and Tennessee need more "superstars". I agree. Ashley Robinson needs to get back to Texas where she belongs. Maybe she would see a bit more playing time. When you have 15 Parade All Americans, why would you go to a school and ride the pine??????? I am happy for Sue Gunter. I believe UT returns the favor next season in BR........

This is may have made the tigers a serious title contender. They can now add an unbelievable recruiting class that includes All-everything Augustus, 6'4" McDonald's All-American center Treynell Clavell, and Duke-transfer (and former HS All-American) 6'5" Crystal White to an already packed team. With Detrina White, Aiyisha Smith, Clavell, and C. White dominating the post, and a great backcourt led by Temeka Johnson (led the nation in assists last season), Kisha James, Augustus, and the two Hodges twins, LSU may be tough to stop. Tennessee had better watch out, as the Tigers may emerge as the team to beat in the SEC.
