Neb transfers

Chipper thanks for the link about Cowgill transfering. I didn't know Jones was going to transfer. Any word on where she might go? It's gotta hurt Neb's program when in state recruits leave the program for whatever reason. Maybe you'll take Mark French since you like him so much?

It hurts when anybody leaves the program for whatever reason. Not so much in the case of Kelley and Blackbird. In my mind that was addition by subtraction. Blackbird couldn't pass a class and Kelley had no business being in Division I. She is doing very well at the Division II level.

As for Mark French. He's staying at UCSB for the forseeable forture and has some youngster who can play some ball. Your obvious distaste for him aside, I like Mark French. The guy is a winner, and more importantly he strikes me as the type of coach who build a team into a family. Having observed him in practices and in game situations, he's seems to be the type that has his finger on the pulse of his team at all times. I wish Nebraska had that in a head coach.
Mark French and Cori Close could always have a sandwich at my house. They've done quite well for themselves in Santa Barbara, and they are raising the bar for that entire league. That is what the game needs.
