Welcome to the 4-guard offense, ISU.

So, this is ISU's starting lineup next season (assuming no Nina Smith):
Point Guards: Wilson, Junod (I love the two-point lineup)
Wings: O'Neil, Cofield
Post: ?
Reserves:
Point: McCracken
Wings: Paustian, Fox
Posts: Kriener, Wilkins
I have no idea which of the two posts will be starting. I hope at least one steps up, but you can't expect a whole lot from a true soph with little game experience and a redshirt freshman.

Not good news for Iowa St.
Bremmer's exit statements certainly seem candid. Maybe more players than we know decide they just don't want to work that hard to play basketball. No fault, no blame. Maybe coaches can't always figure out in advance who wants to work that hard.

Not surprising really. Melanie was like this in high school play, too. Has the tools, but just didn't have the focus on it you need. I was hoping she'd find it when she went to Iowa State and it looked like for a minute there she would.
No shame in feeling the way she did. Better to withdraw the position than playing through it when the heart just wasn't in it.
I agree. I've said the same about Nina Smith: if she really doesn't want to play, nobody will blame her if she doesn't. Basketball is a game. If it isn't fun, what's the point?
