It appears that Candace Rucker has decided to stay at CU. She had an incredibly difficult year, and I'm glad she coming back. We need you Candace!

Speaking of next year, does anyone know when the Spring signing period begins?

I read somewhere that CU maybe shopping for one last recruit, possibly from the junior college ranks, to give some help to Jackie McFarland on the inside. I hope we get someone who can bang down low. Don't get me wrong, each current Buffalo has her strength, but they also have a glaring weakness to each of their games. Just keep in mind Buffs what the great Pat Summit stated during the Final Four, "Championships are won during the off-season" (or something along those lines). Go Buffs!

I am very happy that Candace has decided to stay at CU. She has so much talent and the team will be better for this decision. Candace has quickness and she can really jump. I told her that homesickness can be overcome because when I came to CU in 1974, I was as homesick as she has been and I'm still living in Boulder. She just smiled. Candace has shown how tough she is by this decision after all the problems she had this past year.

The spring signing period starts next wednesday, April 11. I think it lasts a month, but I could be wrong about that.
