Candace White Named UMKC Women's Basketball Coach

I didn't realize that Candace White, Texas Tech alumni had been named UMKC's head coach. She's been acting as interim coach since Bo Overton left in December.

Excellent to see the young players taking the helm of programs.

Two of her assistant coaches this season were Big 12 alums.

In addition to Texas Tech and Seward Co Community College, Candace played for Joe Lombard at Canyon HS. She had some pretty good mentors. Now she gets this great opportunity to succeed Bo Overton.
