I can't believe this. As if 14-16 wasn't bad enough. I found this blurb in the Omaha World Herald over the weekend.
NU's Jones injured
LINCOLN - Nebraska forward Steph Jones was injured in a skiing accident over spring break and will miss four to five weeks of individual workouts, Coach Paul Sanderford said Friday.
The senior-to-be from Omaha Benson, who started in 14 games for the NU women this past season, broke two ribs and had a slight neck injury.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It's bad enough the team is lousy and the coach is inept, but bad luck, too?
I hope Stephanie heals up quick is get herself ready for next season. Although I wonder, WHAT THE HECK WAS SHE DOING ON A SKI VACATION GIVEN THE SEASON SHE'S HAD?
