Karen Knight (Bob's wife) has revived this OK-TX all star bb game.

It will be held in Lubbock at the end of the prime recruiting season, July 27.

Sounds like Karen Knight will coach Oklahoma's team and Dean Weese (famous West Texas girl's coach) will coach the Texas team.

Swok, I'm not sure how to find rosters.

Someone at RP mentioned putting this game on their calender and it made me look it up. That February news story was all I found so far. They were supposed to announce the Texas team at the state tournament. Maybe some of the UT fans who went to the tournament heard something. I don't know how the Oklahoma team will be chosen. I wonder if it will include underclassmen or only be seniors.

I think it is a great idea and gives some of the best players in both states another showcase for their talents. If it's only seniors, we'll get a preview of the incoming freshmen next season. I would guess it will move to Norman next year since they intend to alternate.

I'm glad Karen Knight decided to get involved and get this series started back up.

I think this is a great idea, unfortunately 2 of OU's incoming have torn ACL's; and those are the only 2 from Oklahoma coming in.

The Oklahoma/Texas hs football game is a huge boost, or at least it
used to be. Seems football coaches these days are concerned with injury.

I heard that our three incoming players for Tech were playing, Welch (OU), Thiel (Texas), but that's all I've heard.

dblt......naw, I'm rooting for Welch and whatever team she's on...gotta root for the OU women (incoming or whatever).

Actually, would probably be impartial if either of the two girls from Oklahoma could play.
