3 D1 teams playing for conference championships and automatic bids to the NCAAs. At the end of the day 2 teams going to the NCAAs.

Congratuations to the UNM Lady Lobos MWC Tourney Champions and the NMSU Aggies (men) WAC Tourney Champions.

And if can get by a tough UWGB squad, get UCONN. Flangan goes home to Hartford. Will it be a happy homecoming?? At least for one game?? LOL

What I wouldn't give for UNM to beat UWGB and then take down UConn! Especially since my boss is a UConn grad (and nice guy) and has been talking a bit of smack. Just to see the smirk wiped off Geno's face losing in Hartford again to *gasp* a team from a foreign country ;)

But the Lady Lobos are going to have their work cut out for them facing a tough UWGB team.

My mantra -- remember George Mason ladies - you can be the George Mason of the 2007 Women's NCAA Tourney!

Well, you never know what can happen-but I guess I would even be kind of surprised if it stayed relatively close. Playing loose with a nothing to lose attitude might help keep it that way.
