Take it to em Mizzo and OSU.
That is odd that the games are so close. That to me suggests that all 4 teams are valuing these games.
Again, I can't wait for the Big 12 tourney.

Just when you thought you knew this Husker team??? :(
Huskers hasn't won at ISU since 1997.
Darn...I want the Huskers to share the Big 12 title.
Good job by Matt and co.
With three more conference games remaining, I believe that five teams have cemented berths in the NCAA tournament: BU, ISU. NU, OU, TAMU
The rest of you are on your own.

That was a painful game to watch. The inability to prevent Mizzou's offensive rebounding really hurt.
We have to "rebound" against ISU--we're not out of the hunt yet (even thought we probably drop out of the top 25).

uh oh. OU better watch out vs Missouri, that was one of their problems today: offensive rebounding.

Let me see.
17 minutes without a field goal...or any offensive execution. -- This was the worst offensive output I've seen from the Huskers in a long time.
2nd half of our usual "chuck and chase" defense. -- Interior defense was the bigger problem this day (I expect our perimeter defense to be horrible, we're in a tight race with Oklahoma for having the league's worst defensive guards.)
Our best rebounders played like sissies in the second half. -- We got punked on the offensive boards. No boxing out and a load of second and third chances.
19 turnovers, 7 by Kiera Hardy This was a rare sight for Kiera this season. Last year's Kiera was in the building. When defenders get rough with her, she folded.
Something positive: Even though she had a rare game where she played rather sissified, Kelsey Griffin had 16 points...
OVERALL OUTLOOK: Some observers think Nebraska has a team that'll turn heads in the NCAA tournament.
The team I saw last night would be a first-round exit in the NCAA tournament.
This is the second straight game we've lost. First time this year that happened, but I've been seeing this coming for the last 4-5 games. The focus isn't there and this isn't the time for that to happen. This team could be looking ahead to Oklahoma City or the NCAAs while there is unfinished business.
Memo to Connie Yori and Staff, You've got ragweeds who think they are roses right now. I'm not seeing March focus, and this is where their minds need to be.
Next up we go to Ames....that may end up being a horror show at the Hilton unless this team wakes up.

17 minutes without a field goal. You aren't going to win many games that way. Nebraska played so well against us. I'm surprised they lost two in a row.
You've got ragweeds who think they are roses right now.
Chipper, That is a phrase an ole Nebraskan like me can SEE as a word picture.
Your team may have lost a game but your way with words is still strong. Enjoy the Daytona 500.

Congratulations Tigers. You earned this win. I don't know what the Huskers are doing at practice but it seems as if our post players have become fatigued. Way way too many traveling calls. The Huskers have to start finishing off all those easy shots around the basket. And get back to crashing the boards.
