I've spent the past few hours venturing on line checking out reservations to San Antonio. Flights seem to average around 300 bucks. (SW, CO) THere are 3 hotels I found with availability for the 3 nights checking in on March 29:
Quality Inn Suites (white rd) 95/95/75 (rates per each night)
Comfort Inn Fiesta Park 85/85/70 (rates per each night)
Holiday Inn NE 84/84/84 (rates per each night)
My suggestion is to check SW Airlines res center directly for fare information because their web site is like their boarding pass technology. Really bad. But they do have companion fares going on now, though I couldn't find them on line.
I tried to get onto cheapfares.com, which my company purchased not too long ago, but it is very user unfriendly. I tried to register with them (which you have to do even before searching fares), and it kept telling me something was wrong with my passwords. Good luck to anyone else who tries. So, instead I recommend you try expedia.com. I found the best rates and availbility from them, including the hotel prices I posted above. I couldn't even get prices on La Quinta or Choice hotels' individual websites. So, I recommend expedia.
