And Nancy Lieberman has already declared that the UConn/Tennessee matchup is the "Game of the Year" in wcbb this year! I can't wait! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif

The game of the year will be OU/UConn II if the semis are good to us. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Not going this year. Too much work. Don't think UConn's in the running next year, but maybe in a couple we'll go again. Depends, ya know.

But I hope you all (from Hoopscoop)have a terrific time. If UConn is not there on Sunday ....... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sooners!

Me thinks UConn's next game may be tougher than OU's.

Bark, were we watching the same Connecticut team last night?

I was working and listening and kinda watching the Duke/South Carolina game (since it was the close one)...but I flipped over
and caught a part of the UConn game with about 4 minutes left in the 1st half and the announcers.......they said UConn was shooting something like 92%,???????

I don't know, I haven't seen a Tennessee game yet that I would say they would give Connecticut problems. Now, if OU comes out playing like they did in the Big XII tournament.......might keep up with Connecticut.

Yes, we saw the same game. And yes, UConn is playing exceptionally well right now.

The reason for my "Me thinks ..." is Tennessee. They are very unpredicable and dangerous given that they have a slew of great athletes. If someone get hot (e.g. B. Jackson or G. Jackson or Ely or Lawson or even Snow, Butts, Moore, McDaniel) then game could be a toss up. Certainly Summitt's changing players' roles and starting line ups has hurt the Vols early on, but at this point in the season, all of the TN players have experienced significant playing time and if TN stays close, Summitt may have time to find the hot player(s).

I feel better about the Sooners in the OU/Duke match up cause the contributing player are defined. I figure OU's backcourt is good enough to negate Beard's impact. And that OU's overall energy can stop Tillis and Currie. This is more comforting that rooting for UConn against "Who knows what" from Tennessee.

Off to SA tomorrow...even though my Lady Raiders didn't make it, I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Come on OU...do us all proud! THE game of the season will be the championship game on Sunday night between the Sooners and the Huskies...I'm not predicting anything after watching UConn *miss* only 17 shots last night. But I'll be pulling for the Sooners.

I hate to be a wise guy mred (aw maybe I do like it) but I just assumed we would be the early game. Got to save Uconn and Tenn for the "feature" you know. ESPN did not diss-appoint me.

GO OU! Kick "Bristol University's" behind!
