Just wanted to give folks who are planning on attending a heads up......hope you have a hotel room because they are scarce.

My suggestion would be to go to online services which can search the area instead of calling different hotel chains. I would be glad to check availability for people on our Sabre system but I won't be back to work until Wednesday. So I suggest checking online sources now.

We've located a LaQuinta about 15 miles out for $72/nite; since my travelling partners all take their pets, we are limited. I heard there were a "few" downtown, but none under $160/nite. Someone mentioned to me they had booked at the Marriott at the Airport for I think $109/night.

by the way, I called the ticket office this morning and was told if you have your application in and you are a season ticket holder, you will get tickets....sure hope that is reliable, because I'm booking on it; of course, after we win that one more game tomorrow night. Actually I think you have to be a season ticket holder to even have received an application, but I was asked that question.

Schooner, I would check SW airlines, AA and CO. SW may be the best bet. Availability will be the issue because I understand fares are really low right now. I won't be back to work until THursday, but I'll check the online fares. Also, another option might be Cheaptickets.com. We bought that company a few months ago and they apparently have some rates below published fares. I've yet to check them out online though...
