Upcoming games some may be interested in.
Washington at Arizona State and the added bonus - it will be televised on FOX at 1:30.
Wichita State at Missouri State, also on TV but on ESPNU at Noon, so I won't be able to look in on that one.
Wisconsin at Minnesota on TV at 1:30, but you'll have to look hard for it. I only see it listed on FOX ALT.
Duke at Virginia Tech 11:30am on FOX
Miami at Florida State on SUN at 1:00
While I am mentioning TV games, there is Purdue at Texas at 2:00 on ESPN2 . . . but I don't suppose anyone will be tuning that one in.
Utah at New Mexico 4:00 CSTV
Not on TV
Mississippi State at Arkansas. We'll see how AR performs against a team more on their level. A loss will drop them out of the top 25, and they may drop out anyway after that 98-61 loss to Vanderbilt.

Also, Ole Miss faces Vandy in Oxford, MS unless that's a replay from yesterday. This is good one to watch. Miny Price for Ole Miss is fun to watch.
I switched briefly from the UT-Purdue game to Arizona State-Washington, just in time to see a post for ASU while holding the ball swing her elbows - hard - first one way and then the other, smacking two Washington players in the face and knocking both to the floor, holding their noses. Ouch!
Needless to say, she got the foul.

Will she be allowed back on court this game?
Will she be allowed back on court this game?I didn't get the impression that she was ejected, although I thought she'd broken at least one nose. Thankfully, that didn't appear to be the case.

Not sure about if it was intentional, but ASU leading 83-80 with 27 seconds left.
Go HUSKIES -- was the ASU player called for an intentional?I'm not really watching that game, so I really couldn't tell you.

Looks like ASU is going to hang on to this game. They are up 4 with 11 seconds left.

ASU held on 88-83. Vandy lost at Mississippi, and LSU is behind Georgia in Baton Rouge, but only by two.

Minnesota up over Wisconsin by 11, under 5 to go.
Washington led virtually the whole way, but ASU kept chipping away and sank their free throws at the end.
Just checked yahoo, Arkansas up one over Mississippi State with under 5 to go. I see that Sarah Pfeifer, my favorite Hillbilly was the leading scorer with 11 at the half. UPDATE Mississippi State wins 81-73
Chipper says Nebraska does not belong in the top 25, but neither do a bunch of other teams, so maybe they do by default.
Wichita State 75 Missouri State 67. Hard times in Springfield.

was the ASU player called for an intentional?
No, there was no intentional call. And from seeing the original play and a couple of re-plays, I can see how that call could be correct. 2 UW players had collapsed on her and were guarding her very closely. The ASU player had tried to find someone to pass out to, while it appeared that the opponent players were closing in even further. She was a few inches taller than the defenders (although of what I would describe as slight build) and was holding the ball up, with her arms bent at the elbow. She turned 1 way and hit the first UW player - yes, hard, but it did not appear to be intentional. Then she immediately turned the other way, sorta like a natural reaction when one finds the current path blocked, and hit the other player. Both UW players fell immediately.
It appeared that none of the players on either team nor coaches thought it was anything but accidental. There didn't appear to be flared tempers or anything like that. You could immediately tell the ASU player was sorry that it happened.
While I'm sure the UW players will be very sore -- and sure will have bruises -- the players seemed to shake it off as something that occurs during the course of a game. The rest of the game was uneventful, in terms of fouls, seeking retribution, etc.
It was a very good game and I'm glad that I switched over to watch it after the UT game was over.

Unlike the foul that occurred last year in the NCAA Tournament. I can't remember who the two players involved were, or the two teams, but one player flipped the other player completely over her back slamming the acrobatic player's back on the floor. No intentional foul was called and one should've been IMO.
I just remembered: the flipper was LSU's White (I believe) and I still don't remember the flippee player's name. That was one of the hardest fouls I've ever seen.
