UConn -- Sue Bird is on a mission, she won't let this one get away
Vandy -- they are a team, they play like a team, they win like a team and they've have the Lady Vols number.
Oklahoma -- I'll probably be yelling for Colorado, but Dales and Bird on a collision course
Duke -- can't bear the though of 2 SEC teams in the Final 4

My picks are the same (of course I'll be yelling very loudly for OU all the way)!

I'm gonna pick ODU in the upset. I can just see it now: Sue Bird going off the court with a FROWN on her face (her grin is probably the second one I hate besides Caufield's).
OU
Duke
Vanderbilt
Final: OU vs. Vandy
Winner: OU
Although, the Lady Raiders have lost to the National Runner up for the past two seasons in the tournament (Tenn. in 2000 & Purdue in 2001). Is it meant to be?

I have made it a habit NOT to predict throughout this tourney except of course my bracket picks, and one of my final four teams is gone;
so I think I'll stay the course.
If ODU beats UConn tonight, will ESPN bother showing up in San Antonio? Or will they save on the travel budget and just show replays of the 2000 Championship next weekend? http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif

ah, I think as long as they have their second favorite, Duke...
they'll show up.
I don't think a single Big XII team has gotten "knock-out" coverage from ESPN, Vanderbilt is another team that is in some respects hidden.......except, of course, they are playing the beloved Vols, who get an extraordinary amount of coverage for a #2 seed. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
They talk incessantly about Connecticut, Duke and Tennessee.
But that's ok, I actually think OU does better without so much exposure.

And they were talking about Stanford (and NP) alot, but then I guess that was their special story...

I guess if OU is national champ we will have to get the news on Fox. ESPN will be in total denial!
