Vichy Colorado's coming to fight, I will say that for them, they need to keep the aggressive posture they've had and not go sissy-candypants the way Texas and Kansas State did.

You got it, Chip! They are tied 40-40 now. I'm going crazy trying to keep up with everything today. Oh, I forgot about world figure skating! Geez..
I think I'm going nuts. This CU-SU game is driving me absolutely crazy.
These two teams are about as evenly matched as I can imagine, and we are discovering that the vaunted Nicole Powell would merely be a solid player in the Big XII.
The big question of the day for me is - why didn't Texas and K-State come to play? C'mon, I KNOW they are better than that!
I REALLY want CU to win this game, even though I don't think either team has much of a chance to beat OU the the region final - assuming OU gets that far!
This is quite a game... Pull this one out, CU!

I can't address the question of Texas. I think they did put up a fight although I would have liked the result to be better. In KSU's case I think from the coaching staff on down we just weren't prepared to deal with the regional final stage. That surprised me given that both Patterson and Ethrige have championship experience. I don't think that will happen again.
I can't tell you how pleased I am to see the game the Buffs played. Now I can enjoy the OU TTU game. Go Big 12!

Texas -- Guard play killed them, plain and simple. Duke's backcourt has played hard all tournament and put on a show
Kansas State -- The Powerpuff Girls learned a lesson in playing at the highest level. They were a fish out of a water and it showed. Sometimes it jumps off for a young team that way
Texas Tech -- NO SHAME AT ALL! J-J-J-Jia!!!!! I love Jia Perkins. She gave it a ride so did Cisti Greenwalt. You haven't heard the last of the Lady Raiders.
Memo to Plenette Pierson Get your act together, and get back to play again! This team could have use you last night. DON'T BE A NEBRASKA CORNHUSKER! YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT!

Seriously, there's not a lot to dislike about this CU team this year, they really give it great effort game in and game out. They are truly warriors.
Monday's game against OU should be a LOT of fun!
May the best team win, and represent the Big XII well, regardless of which team that happens to be.

Chipper...I think Pierson has her act together. She's gone to Coach a couple of times in the last few months and begged to be allowed back on the team, but Coach has stood firm. She's been actively practicing with the team going against Cisti and Jolee. She's been at all the games and she was crying at the end of the MSU game...I suppose knowing what she was missing.
My heart's with CU, but my head says OU....we'll see which one wins out on Monday.

That's really sad when conference foes don't support each other when the opportunity avails them, meaning.....like the Big XII teams rooting for Colorado last night.......and you can bet that any Big XII fan in Idaho, be they OU or TTU were rooting for Colorado.

I have an http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/osu.gif friend who lives there and was going to the game to cheer for the Big 12 teams. He even was going to pull for OU!

Hey...they're bands, heckling is what they do. I can NOT the Tech band pulling for Texas or not heckling the other team/band or for that matter most of our band. That's just what they do. They heckle.
Heck...there are a lot of Lady Raider fans who are just that Lady Raider fans only and can't imagine my delight in a Big12 team going to the Final 4.
We, true & gracious WBB fans are going to be pulling for whatever Big12 Team makes it to the Final 4.

Congratulations to OU and CU. Way to go, Buffs! Now we will have a Big XII team in the Final Four and get that monkey off our backs, although I am quite sure other conferences will whine about the Committee handing it to us. How about our winning the whole thing? Is that a plan?
I love my Lady Raiders and I am proud of how hard the competed!

We all know Stanford had the media wrapped around their little finger. As Big XII fans, we all knew Colorado was capable of beating Stanford. It amazed me how it was labeled a "SHOCKER" that Colorado won. Duh!!

Seriously, Colorado's earned this. I give credit where credit is due. Vichy Colorado showed heart, hustle and courage all season.
To not acknowledge that would be the height of jealously and it is sign of a jackal. Besides, why should downgrade even a heated rival because their own team doesn't have the wherewithall to compete and probably never will.
