I haven't watched too many bowl games, but the Big 12 surely has had the most interesting games. Texas Tech's comeback against Minnesota. I've heard by many that the Missouri games has been the best although they lost. And now this Oklahoma - Boise State game. What an unbelievable 4th quarter by Oklahoma and then the amazing last second touchdown by Boise State. And now we are in overtime!! Boise State is for real.

WOW! What a game. I caught the last five minutes and the overtime. That might be the best finish to a football game that I have ever seen. I know that I should be for Big 12 but how could you not love the effort that Boise State played with. Way to go Boise State!

Shoot, I'm a Sooner fan and I appreciate how Boise State battled and show they belong with the "Big Dogs". What a finish and congrats to Boise State. They deserved it.

U N B E L I E V A B L E :(

and here I went thinking after our second TD there in the waning minutes of the 4th quarter: Boise State sure has played to hard to lose this game.

That was a heck of a roller coaster kind of game though there in the final quarter and the OT.

Yeah, too much of a roller coaster for my taste! Yeah, I'd love this game too if it were any other team but OU. I'm such a die hard Sooner that I was literally jumping up and down screaming three different times at the end only to be sunk down in my deep sofa in between each of those calisthenics.

Oh well, it was a good season to overcome all of the obstacles we had to deal with. Now it's over.

It's all WCB from here on out, not that it wasn't already.:)

That game was terrible. It kept me up past my bedtime. :p

Seriously it was a great college game even if the outcome was not what I was hoping for. Boise State's trickery was well timed and perfectly executed. At one time an annoucer commented on the BSU Coach's excellent call and his sidekick said it was the execution that made the call good. I agree. OU's fake punt was a trick call that went the other way. Notwithstanding that, and the loss, OU played well and should be proud. Congrats to both teams.

GO BIG 12!

When was the fake punt?!! I don't remember that or I missed it while outside grilling steaks.

I have to admit I was pulling for Boise State (not against OU, just for Boise State). I saw them cream NMSU earlier in the season and really liked their never say die attitude. It was quite the game by both teams. I also loved the fact that the coach still says they deserved a shot at Ohio State.

An amazing game by both teams and excellent coaching.

On third thought I think it was in the Nebraska game. (unless Stoops did it too) ;)

I don't remember us using a fake punt, but Nebraska did attempt one in their game.

Now, how do you two remember that fake punt? Especially when 99% of the Cotton Bowl viewers fell asleep midway thru the 1st quarter! :p:

I think the thought process was something along the lines of, "Now, I know the Sooners didn't attempt a fake punt.....where did I see one of those today?????" ;)

It was too painful to remember correctly at first.

"I don't remember us using a fake punt, but Nebraska did attempt one in their game.

That fake punt was butchered, and really didn't need to be called.

"Now, how do you two remember that fake punt? Especially when 99% of the Cotton Bowl viewers fell asleep midway thru the 1st quarter!

How can you fall asleep on a good hard-hitting defensive game? What put me to sleep was another unimaginative offensive game plan from Bill Clownihan.

We put in the West Coast Offense...and against the best teams we don't run it.

The only thing that made New Years' Day okay was the money I won on the Fiesta Bowl...GO BRONCOS! :)
