....were too much down the stretch. This is pretty much what I had drawn up in my head. Nice game OU!

The LR's didn't give up and I'm proud of them. This team just doesn't have enough players that can score to hang for 40 min. with OU. Nice game for Greenwalt and Perkins!

I think that the key thing in this game was rebounds. I don't really recall Tech ever getting a weak side rebound and it was one and done for the offense. Nevertheless I am still proud of my Lady Raiders and the seniors Amber Tarr, Tanisha Ellison, and Candi White.

As for the OU seniors, I'm glad I will never have to see their grins against the LR ever again. I would give anything to wipe that smirk off of Caufield's face http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif , but maybe Sheryl Swoopes can do it for me in the WNBA http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif . Seriously, though, I hope OU goes all the way and wins the NC. They really do deserve it. Goodbye Dales, Caufield, and Ross!!! I'm glad you're gone! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

Just wait for Greenwalt, Perkins, Pierson, Grant, and Ayers next year! OU's had their fun...now let the LR have theirs! Untill we meet again OU! Go Lady Raiders!!

Tech played great defense...but the shots weren't falling and they weren't getting some of those key boards. But I too am very proud of this team. They've been through a lot this year and they can hold their heads high! I for one will be wearing my Lady Raider stuff in SA.

OU's transition game was the difference. I too am glad to see these seniors take their game to the next level.

Don't forget Jackson..there's a Keitha Dickerson intensity just waiting to burst out. And Natalie and LaTosha and LaToya and...Chelsea. I can already hardly wait until November.

Bball Girl, I certainly agree with your post and am excited, but Jackson, bless her heart, is not a finisher. I know the kid has heart, but she doesn't handle the ball well enough or have a consistant outside shot for the 3 and she's too short and not a good enough finisher for the 4. I think her PT next year will go way down if she doesn't "burst out" soon. She does have some good games, but she's not consitantly someone that you can rely on. I know she's got that mentaility and work ethic that Marsha likes, but in big games, you have to have more.

I hope over the summer, all these girls really focus on expanding their games and conditioning because if not, Grant, Dabbs, Davis, Clark, plus Pierson, will leave some of them on the bench. The team next year will be very athletic and I think that's a very exciting thing to think about.

Overall, this team exceeded my expectations and didn't quit, which makes me very proud.

Hey Tech fans-

YOu have a great group of young ladies to cheer for (like you don't know that already). They're one of my favorite teams besides OU in the conference (and now OU gets to play my other favorite. Go figure). They will certainly be fun to watch next year and will be tough. I also am proud of how they hung together through the adversity they've faced this season.

Tech looked impressive. Cisti Greenwalt looks like a scary opponent for the future.

Press...you're right about Jackson. Coach was really high on her at the beginning, she even started, but couldn't maintain the intensity...I still think it's lurking somewhere. Geez...I forgot about Clark. I've heard great things about her...she's been hitting the weights with Pierson.

We're going to be strong in the post and with our forwards.

Who do you see picking up the backup PG duties? Do you think LaTosha can handle it? She did ok in the first two rounds. I just don't like Jia at the point...never have, never will.

I think Dabbs could possibly fill that role. I know she played the 2 & 3 in HS, but she usually ended up breaking the press and bringing up the ball because of the pressure. She's super quick and a great passer. I've noticed she was in the top 10 in DFW in assists at one point. If her knee is in good shape, I really see her steppping up at the 2 or 3 spot. One thing about her is that she can be on the wing and take her defender to the basket and even post up. She's a lot like Caufield in that sense, she's really comfortable posting up and at 5-11, she often presents problems for shorter guards.
