I just got back from the big easy and my brother has a new 46" LCD HDTV. He plugged in the OU/OSU game, and while it wasn't in HD, it was AWESOME!! (except the end of course!)
He doesn't get ESPN in HD and he also doesn't have an HD DVD recorder. Hum, maybe I can get him to give me his dvd recorder for a price so he can get an HD one.
I was thinking about splurging for a 37 inch HDTV! Oh, well better than what I have now, to be sure.
BTW, we took a "tour" of east New Orleans and the 9th ward where the damage was huge, and it is still unbelievable. Unbelievable. There are many, many dwellings that need to be torn down and hauled off. It has to be a health hazzard. I also found out why the Hyatt (next to the Dome) had 1,000 windows blown out when my brother's building only had about 10. The municipal building was below the Hyatt and had a rock roof which the high winds blew up into the Hyatt.
