Coach Weese to Leave Tech?

I heard this rumor. Surely this CANNOT be true! If it is true, where is he going? I can't imagine Marsha, or the Lady Raider program, without him!

I hear OSU is after him, but I sure don't want that to happen. He's our recruiting coordinator and one of our best PR people out there. This will hurt, but I wish him the best. about the OSU job--I have also heard that OU Asst. Bo OVerton wants it really bad. Not sure if this is true...

My first thought when I heard this rumor was that he may be going to OSU. I can see Coach Weese doing WONDERS with that program -- which is not nearly as bad as a lot of people make it out to be already be. If Weese goes there, the rest of the conference had better look out. I said the same thing about Baylor two years ago!

You know Weese was also in the running for the TCU job when it was open, so it tells me he is wanting his own team. I know he wants to stay somewhat close to home and OSU certainly would be that.

I don't know that there's a better assistant out there than Coach Weese. Having said that, OSU -- if they REALLY care about the women's program -- had better hire the best PERSON for the job.
