Knee surgery to keep Griffin out of lineup

Ouch! Hope she recovers in good shape. Many players have come back pretty quickly after a meniscus fix.

I think OU's Desiree Taylor had the same injury her senior year...

if this is the same as the MCL...but she never tore her ACL.
Her time was limited on how long she could stay on the floor, and she was not the player she was in her sophomore and junior year after the tear.....

Wishing Ms. Griffin a speedy recovery.

According to what I read, they think Darrice will be out for about 3 weeks. I'm sure praying they know what they're talking about.

"OU's Desiree Taylor..."

I think I've seen her at my gym in Dallas. At least the person I saw, looked like her and had on OU shorts.

She was teaching down in Dallas for awhile....and she's from Richardson;
last I heard she was back at OU pursuing a MBA degree and working here at OU in some fashion.
