You know, there is one MAJOR drawback to being an OU fan this season: There ain't nuttin new in the news! A fan wants to devour information and every time Google search (otherwise known as SWOK) provides another link, off I go with great expectations and find the same quotes and facts and interpretations I have seen 127 times before.

OK - a new game provides a new angle on how good Ny is, etc. But after the first game report, all that stuff becomes fodder for the recycle machine.

Many! I wanted to say to the media/print person, "Where have you been? That's all old stuff!" OTOH, it was great seeing Baylor, Sophia, et al get some well deserved POSITIVE mentions in the press.

So Sooner fans, I can emphathize . . . looks like it's just going to be another hohum season for you. Yeah, right! ;)

it seems we are seeing a lot of the quotes that have come out of the Big XII media conference a month ago.

The craziest thing? I think you could count on one hand the times we've mentioned Courtney's name in both exhibitions. :) Who ever thought Courtney would be old hat? :eek:
