Rivals is reporting that K-State has received a commitment from Shalin Spani, the daughter of former KSU and KC Chiefs great Gary Spani.
The 5'11" Spani plays for Metro Academey, a home school in Kansas City who recently went 34-5 this past year and won the National Home School championship.
Spani has played since her freshmen year, and has average 24 points and 8 assists since then. She holds the Kansas record for most 3 pointers in a game with 12......and last year scored 43 points in one game.
She chose K-State over Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois, Vanderbilt, and Missouri State.
Of course...I told you guys 3 months ago that she had commited. And I've also learned from 2 inside sources that Patterson has received a commitment from Jackie Stanley from Dallas, Texas.
The 6'2" Stanley averaged 21 points and 9.6 rebs last year as a junior and chose K-State over Baylor, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Rice.
