Seeley Update

Jadrea scored 36 points to lead her team to the 2nd round of the NAIA National Tournament in Jackson, TN.
Seeley hit 14 of 20 shots from the field and 8 of 10 from the free throw line. She also led the team with eight rebounds.

I know this isn't that interesting because of March Madness, but Seeley was named NAIA player of the year. Her team lost in the 2nd or 3rd round of the NAIA national tourney.

Other former OU connections: Danielle Ladd (recruited by OU out of HS, went Juco route and not pursued by OU) was part of OCU winning their 4th national Championship.
Jessica Rhoten (ORU, sat out a year at OU, then transferred to OCU) was declared academically ineligible after the fall semester.

This doesn't surprise me a bit, I suspected she would be player of the year.......

NAIA is the hotbed of hoops in Oklahoma......finals were last night for the women (and men)....all teams were from Oklahoma.
Oklahoma City won it for the 4th year in a row, defeating SNU....
which is the university Schuchnecht (transfer to OU)transferred from.

And Schuchnecht was an NAIA player of the year as well (well, I thought I read this but just checked and she wasn't; just an All-American). We noticed she is very thin (and tall!). Does anyone know about her game? Is she more of a finesse player?

It's cool to see all OK teams dominating the NAIA team. Plus, my hometown team (Univ. of Science and Arts) won the men's tourney.

I have no idea, though I did get to see her play in the scrimmage, oh so long ago, don't even remember.....she was also Pac-10 freshmen of the year for Arizona or Arizona State, pretty sure ASU.
