Allow me to be the first to make a post about next year. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif Not ONE ISU coach or player mentioned Nina Smith as part of next year's team. Doesn't look like she's coming back, which means it probably doesn't look good for Goring.

Unfortunate way for the seniors to go out. In his post game interview, Coach F. asked the fans to come out and get behind BYU. They are a quality team. Hopefully they can give TN a run for their money. I'll be there cheering for him! Hopefully the other 7999 people who have bought tickets will be too!

Pick us up, Big 12! Do the conference proud next weekend!

I'm be there but something tells me I won't be as hoarse after that game as I am now. We noticed on the way home that Coach Kebe didn't mention either of those ladies. My son asked if we had given up on Gillian.

Anyone know why Tracy Paustian's playing time diminished to nothing? I really felt like she contributed greatly to the team on the court.

Because Erica Junod was able to return early from her knee injury. No disrespect for Paustian, but Junod is way more experienced and a much better ball handler.

That was Coach Pingeton.

Re: Nina Smith

Interesting that she my not be back with the team. I'm spacing on details, but it seems that during the past year, I've read of several high profile players transferring from their first school only to leave the second school as well (either for personal or academic reasons).

I don't believe Nina Smith will transfer from Iowa State. I think the question is only whether she wants to play basketball. Whether she plays or not, I've been under the assumption that she will be a student at ISU.
