49-39 against the UCSB Gauchos with 10:57 remaining. It may be that Texas depth is starting to wear them down.

Go Texas! The Big XII has to go at least 5-2 in the second round to keep large groups of people from calling us overrated. Hopefully we can go 6-1.

Don't a lot of the UCSB players have foul trouble?......I've flipped over a time or two, and one girl had picked up her 4th; that was with 12 minutes left to play...

Looks like Texas is in good shape, being up 10 with 2:18 left. The game isn't over, but Texas is in the dirver's seat (to use a tired cliche).

It was a great game and the UT players kept their composure and played like they deserved to host! I mentioned earlier in the year that Tracy Cook's intensity seemed to have a huge impact on the team. In the last two games, she has been as intense as I've ever seen her. On a nice side note, she scored her 1,000 career point tonight. Kala and Heather both stepped up also. Hitting open shots and moving the ball. Hastings also had a great game and did a really good job of gaurding a player that had a lot of inches on her.

Way to play UT!

We've been waiting all season for Kala and Heather to show up on the same night! It was fun to watch, nervewracking tho it was. Anissa has always played really good defense, and it's good to see her making some baskets now. So I'm hoping to see some of you guys in North Carolina. I've been online checking airfares and hotels.
