Final was 84-63. SFA kept it close in the first 15 minutes, but you knew Tech would have no thoughts of an upset after Jia Perkins hit a long two pointer at the buzzer to end the half (38-30). SFA's defense could not keep up with the deep Texas Tech bench. SFA got into foul trouble and the LR took over scoring 13 points in the first 4 minutes of the second half. Tanisha Ellison had a career high 20 points and 9 boards. Jia had 19 points and 7 assists. Jolee Ayers had 12 points and 10 boards. Next up is MState. Tan White had 15 points and Latoya Thomas had 27. I think Tech matches up well and as long as we contain Thomas I believe Tech can put this one away early. Go Lady Raiders!!
