It never occurred to me that K-State wouldn't win. This was a top six seed quality team.

Great job for our ladies! Kim Dietz, Twiggy and Shalee really came up big for us. That's what's great about these girls, any one can step up at any given time when we need them.

YES! What a way to end the season. My night started by catching a foam purple Powercat thrown out into the stands by Marlies Gipson and just got better from there. What a fun season! What a fine team!

We will miss you J-Mac!

Thanks for all the congratulations from our friends across the Big 12 conference.

I just got home from the game and I think it will be hours before I settle down and go to sleep. I am still really wired! What fun the WNIT tournament has been for our young team and our fans.

Wow! Freshman Shalee Lehning gets a triple double!!!! I congratulated her mother tonight on that accomplishment and her mom said, "I guess that's pretty good for a freshman." My reply was a "triple double is really good for ANYONE!" It is only the 4th one in KSU women's bb history; the last one was by former awesome wildcat, Megan Mahoney :)


CONGRATULATIONS DEB AND PLAYERS AND COACHES -

Thanks JMAC. Your four years of continued improved basketball play resulted in your being a major contributor this year and your four years of academic excellence is to be admired. We will indeed miss you.

I listened to the game last night. It sounded like a fantastic college basketball game. Back and forth, I'm not sure how many lead changes there were but it seemed to happen every other possession.

It really was a very close game until the last couple of minutes. To battle it out and win such game will make the memories of it even more special.
