Don't tell me. Once again, absolutely no mention of OU winning the WNIT in '94 and going to the 2nd round of the NCAA in '95?

of course not, schooner......that makes OU looks so much better if it looks like we were half dead zombies who never accomplished anything........ http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
It's funny because the 94 and 95 teams were pretty good...I didn't know they went to the NCAA's in '95. It's actually a Stacey Dales article with information about OU's resurgence.

Amazing. Really is. Sherri has been phenomenal and had to build this program from scratch because basically no recruiting was being done in '94 and '95. But she didn't bring it back from abolishment. Is there not a single journalist that knows how to research facts when writing about this story? Unbelievable.
Over the past 3-4 years, Oklahoma has to be considered one of the best women's basketball stories. But again, this OU team went from abolishment to winning the WNIT in 4 years and the 2nd round of the NCAA in 5 years. That's at least just as good a story and it all happened pre-Coale.
