Anyone just see the Washington girl get flipped over the LSU player? Ouch! It looked painful, but she was OK. Oh, and she also got called for the foul. She was reaching around the LSU player for a rebound and the player jerked the ball and the girl's arm, and up and over she went.

LSU trails 20-22.

I get the feeling Pokey will be using some colorful words at halftime. Ugly game, but it's keeping UW in it.

**Fowles is in foul trouble. I'm pulling for the upset, so I am curious what will happen if she and Augustus are both in the game.

I don't know who this team is on my TV.....

but they are not LSU. Some imposter team that showed up in Nashville.
Shooting 28%. Sylvia Fowles on bench with 2 fouls. 0 points. 2 minutes.

Washington leads 26-23 at the half.

But the wrestling takedown would have won an award here in Oklahoma City this weekend

No kidding! I just saw the replay. Ah, youth! But I truly ached for her just seeing the replay. Let's hope that she comes back and is ok for the rest of the game.

Yeah, I saw it. I couldn't believe it. I do agree on the initial foul. The LSU player had control of the rebound and the position, but I think I would have given her a technical b/c she knew she had that Washington girls arm and just kept going forward bending over. I don't think you can say the LSU player was still in motion, b/c from the way I saw it the play kind of stopped. Plus that UW player that flipped is not a small girl, so the LSU player had to have exerted a lot of extra energy to flip her over her body.

Did you also see when they played it over in slow motion how the LSU player immediately extended her hand after the UW player bounced off the floor?

It happened right in front of Chapman and she was right there helping the player up.

I went to a basketball game and a gymnastic match broke out! ;)

Ouch! That could of very easily hyper-extended her elbow.

Will LSU be the first #1 to fall?

And that play has become tonight's dunk highlight - they kept showing it over and over again...

Breanne Watson is tough, but there are limits.

As to what LSU is looking like, let's give some credit to Washington for that. I've been singing out their praises for a good while now. I know it is only half time, and a lot of the top seeds have come out and run off in the second half, but there is still hope.

I don't really know what to do when she flips someone. Is that in the flow of the game?

If LSU makes it to the Elite Eight, I hope we get to see the team that is playing tonight instead of the one that I watched play Baylor, Tennessee, UConn, and Ohio State. I don't think flat is a descriptive enough term. I would love to hear the halftime discussion. I don't think there will be a lot of two syllable words.

Wouldn't it be something if OU and Tulsa played to reach the Final Four? The #1 and #2 rebounders in the nation, two teams with a combined record of 60-9?

What an unusual storyline that would be...

There's some bodies bangin' tonight. In the Utah/ASU game a Utah girl was setting the mid-court pick for her point guard and the ASU guard guarding the Utah point guard bounced off of her hard and hit the floor. Only the Utah player got called for a moving screen. She didn't have her feet set.

Then the Tulsa/DePaul game looks like a rugby match with Mays constantly diving on the floor or getting tackled to the ground.

Also just saw where Erica took a shot right in the face from a UW player. It knocked her pretty good and she had to go to the bench. Camera got a shot of her face and there's a pretty good sized whelp/scratch on her left cheek.

We are in the same region...but it would be a cool regional final..

the top two rebounders going after it.

Lots of these teams have looked a bit sluggish in the 1st half, only to pull it together in the 2nd. I've seen UW play several times this year and they're a pretty good team. Cameo Hicks and O'Neill needed some help from their comrades.

Getting Fowles in foul trouble appears to be one way of slowing down LSU. But LSU has Augustus :D

although Augustus seems unstoppable..LSU Did falter when Fowles was on the bench. Once she stepped back on the floor at the beginning of the 2nd half ..game over for the Huskies. Semione put up tremendous numbers against Baylor, but in my opinion..Fowles was the tower of doom for my Lady Bears.

I really..really like OU's chances of taking that regional. LSU..to Pokey's displeasure seems to be struggling thus far.

I don't remember who was doing the game yesterday, but one of the broadcasters said something that I thought was interesting. While Augustus has been their best player, the MVP of last year's team was Temeka Johnson and the MVP of this year's team is Sylvia Fowles. Not sure if I agree with it, but I thought it was an interesting statement.

Considering that Temeka Johnson was the runaway winner for WNBA Rookie of the Year, you have to figure that LSU is not the same team as the one that made their run last season.
