Dear Sherri, Kim, Ceal, Deb, Jody, Bill and Marsha:

Shortly after 8 pm tonight, the most important coaching task of your careers officially begins. The Big 12 season will be over and the reason you began unlocking the gym everyday in October will finally be here. You will be preparing for games on March 15th or 16th, 17th or 18, 23rd, 25th, 29th and 31st. Win 6 straight games and you will be the coach of a champion.

Sure, a couple of you have coached a national champion, some have been to the Elite 8. Those WERE your best coaching jobs. Those are history. Nobody is giving you any bonus points in the upcoming games based on history.

The fans of the Big 12 think you are the best coaches in the land. The fans on the left side of America and the right side think your teams are overrated and don't deserve the hype.

Please show us who is right.
