What do you think of all the top ten teams right now? I saw in one of your posts ealier you thought Purdue was overrated and ND should have been ranked ahead of them! I looked at Purdue schedule and it looks like they have beaten some tough opponents so far, #25Tulane and #19LSU, both on the road. What do you think of Duke, are they for real? what about Latech, do you they deserve to be top 10 right now? How would you rank the top 10 teams.
Thanks.

??I said Purdue was over-rated??......hmmmm, Notre Dame started over-rated in some polls because they lost so many players from last year; but I don't recall saying that about Purdue. My top 10 today:

1) Connecticut - no one has come within 20 yet.
2) Tennessee - Curious how they will do @ Stanford next weekend.
3) Oklahoma - Connecticut will be an interesting match test.
4) Vanderbilt - think they just have the players to run the route.
5) Iowa State - found a groove.
6) Stanford - maybe too low.
7) Purdue - only loss is 5 points to OU
8) Duke - inconsistency......smart, young ballclub, though.
9) La Tech - ditto above....the Wac will be an interesting conf.
10) Baylor - this team is better than what some believe.

Hmmmmm, that's mine for today. I know La Tech plays better in January/February than the 2 games I've seen them play, though I'm curious what their travel requirements are going to do to this team......next week, Tennessee travels to Stanford....that will be an interesting game as well as the Oklahoma/Connecticut game as far as rankings are concerned........

After watching the La Tech/Connecticut, these are my thoughts on OU's upcoming game.........

1) Absolutely have to limit turnovers, not sure they can get away with their norm and win......
2) All starting 5 have to show up, up until now, there have been 2 or even 3 players who have shown up to pick up the slack for the others.....can't happen on the 22nd.
3) These teams are so much alike, trap defenses, backdoor cuts,
breakaway offensive transition (ok, not sure what to call that) mean they both like to steal the ball and fastbreak for layups.
4) Diane Taurasi is going to be a problem. If they leave her open for a 3 point shot.....it may spell trouble.
