Strictly a rock-star kind of new talent season for the conference. Things are just going to be so much fun for the next few years.

I also left off Cook and some other kids who have impressed me. But, they haven't started or played enough just yet. The kids I listed are mostly starters as freshmen. I would say that this is an imposing group.
Look at the number of centers and power forwards on this list, and those are the most difficult people to find. I think the primary difference between the Big Twelve and the other major conferences is that we have more good talent inside, and it looks like that difference will accelerate.
I might also nominate Kansas State's starting point guard. I can see why you would not think of her as a freshman. She plays like a vet. Here are her stats:
G 5'9" Shalee Lehning - Pts 6.5, assists 5.5, rebounds 6.0, steals 1.6 and an assist to TO ratio of 1.9 to 1. She has also been known to play some fair defense.
I like Daniell Zanotti a lot too but I'll cut you some slack there since she is not starting much yet.
We do have a great crop of frosh in the league. Thanks for posting their stats.

I noticed Lehning, but I didn't know that she was playing enough to be named as a starter. That would give K-State three very talented freshmen.
Shalee has started about 17 of our 23 games. She was out a bit with an ankle injury. She averages around 30 minutes a game now. Marlies Gipson is the only player on the Kansas State team that has started every game.
