Being an Aggie and son of a Sooner mother, I cant root for texas to win a NC in anything. And Michigan did a pretty good job against UCLA if I remember correctly.

Okie that I am, I can't bear the thought of Texas winning two national championships in the same year. But, Cat is one of my favorite players to watch.

I too love to watch her pitch, especially when we beat her 2-0 here in Waco last year.

I've really gotten more into college softball in the last few years, but the degree to which one player can make an otherwise average team into a championship contender is a major flaw in the game. I don't know exactly how it would be remedied - they've discussed increasing the pitching distance or changing the ball. I normally don't like tinkering with the rules of a game to increase offense, but softball is a little too slanted towards the pitching right now. All we can do now is count the days until the Cat walks across that stage :p
