This is gonna be great!
ISU lost, but I won't complain. ISU had some really bad stretches, but otherwise both teams played great. It should be an exciting final on Saturday!

Congratulations to Baylor! ISU was definitely beaten by a better team tonight! I'm proud of the Clones, they NEVER quit. Could we be seeing a preview of a national championship game tomorrow night??? http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
The two hottest teams in the conference (and country?) will compete for the championship Saturday night. What a game it should be.
Baylor saw a little bit of why Junod is so important to our team. I think she's really starting to get back in a groove. And now, Big XII fans can finally root for her to continue to improve this season. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks guys! ISU has had one heckuva run the last couple years. It was bound to come to an end sometime, but the Clones fought til the end. It was a very entertaining game, if not the best one of the Big 12 Tourney to date this year.

Great game by Baylor. They've now done something OU hasn't done in Coach Coale's tenure--twice!!
Saturday will be a very exciting game indeed.
OU is peaking at the right time, and Baylor is really looking good and less like a 2 man show.

Hopefully the ISU "role" players can take something from the two Baylor losses. Both times a non-star killed us!
Cofield, Fox, Bremer, Paustian....a lot of times they don't even LOOK to score, which allows teams to get away with double teaming on "the big 3". Hopefully some of these players can step up in the next week of so. You will almost always lose to good teams playing 3 on 5. Thank heavens Junod is back! She could be a difference maker!

Let me add my kudos to Baylor. What suprised me so much about them against ISU is they are really playing as a team right now. Lambert had to sit most of the first half, and yet Baylor hung with ISU. Collins was fantastic at point and Lambert was primarily used as a 2-guard. Crockrom was on and Richards had one of those "mystifying" games that KMR was quoted on in today's K.C. Star.
Should be a great matchup. Both of these teams are playing Final Four caliber ball right now. Man, I sure hope both OU and BU can make it that far!!

The ISU-BU game was terrific...really showcased Big 12 women's basketball. I can't tell you how impressed and pleased I was with Baylor. They hung in there during the foul trouble, kept their focus and Coach KMR and Lambert kept the fire in their eyes a blaze. They didn't panic and did not give up on themselves when ISU made their runs.
I hope tomorrow night's game is another barnburner...exciting down to the last few baskets.

wow, this is going to be the best show going in Kansas City tomorrow night. I told some Iowa State fans I ran into at the hotel that I hope BB folks in the Kansas City area realize what they have and show up in droves.
There was mention in the paper today that most of the WNBA scouts have gone home and here in this game are 4 potential first round draft picks.....
This is going to be a great game.......and I think I'll keep my pick to myself this go 'round.....

Has certainly turned out to be everything they said it would be....
OU up at the half 41-29....
would have to think OU has the edge in "rest" over the last 2 games, though I see a couple of them winded at the speed of this game.
