How's the tourney? I'm jealous. Give us some insight. Who will the non-partisans cheer for tomorrow? Is Fedora's still on the plaza? (Fedora's was a great pasta place; I hope it's still there) I don't know about you, but I'm so encouraged with the way Dales has put her game into ultra-high gear. I'm also encouraged that our team has not had to spend much energy in the two wins; even if we don't win tomorrow, it should help us in the NCAA's. Fresh legs...

Have a good one and fill us in...

vickie........got home about 6 pm tonite.

Actually, I do need a laptop for those away games, I didn't realize how addicting this site has become http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Someone here on the site found a coffee shop with internet access, so there I was at 8 am yesterday happily typing away.

I absolutely love the Baylor/OU matchups and wouldn't you know, I planned my few days in Kansas City so that I could still have the time and money available for San Antonio. If these OU girls play not only offensively, but defensively the way they have......they will be seeing San Antonio....but I will be watching the OU/BU matchup on TV....and there were plenty of good seats to be had with ISU fans selling their tickets to tomorrow nites game.
We ate at one place down at the Plaza, think it was called Canyon Cafe and they were nice enough to let me watch the BU/TTU game also.

These OU women are on a mission, and I do mean a mission, they have not been overly celebratory up to this point. Senior nite was actually a fairly "low-key" celebration in their eyes. I loved Stacey's quote at the end of her senior nite speech.....
"this was really nice, but we are not finished, come with us to the Final Four....."

They have been fabulous the last two games; and I do mean fabulous. They have stepped it up in a way they did not last year. You can see it in their eyes...reminds me a bit of the OU men's team in 1988.

BUT, lest we get carried away, Baylor should be tough tomorrow. Anytime you have to play against Lambert, it will be tough. Go Sooners!

Oh, and if you like pasta, try Fedora's next time you go to KC. Assuming it's still there. (lobster tortellini, yum!)

Didn't make it to Fedora's, but I did get back to Cheesecake Factory. Their portions are unbelievably enormous. My wife and I had to take back over half our meal and share it with others. Plus I'm a big sucker for any kind of cheesecake.

Saw the entire Baylor team and coaches and announcers, etc. there at the restaurant as well. They all looked in high spirits.

Should be a great game tonight.
