Thank you, UNLV! That victory over Colorado State is one I was hoping for. Makes CU a very probable host and enhances Tech's chances as well.

Old Dominion won unfortunately, but they still may not have the numbers to host.

two cents, they didn't exactly make a statement in the conference title game by winning a close one in OT.

We'll see what happens from here, but my earlier thoughts were that when Tech won their first game in the Big 12 tournament, the had clinched the hosting seed.

BTW, I think that Louisiana Tech as a 4-seed is a stretch. But we all know about legacy teams...

Yeah....it may come down to one of the two Tech's for the last spot. It would be nice if Hawaii could at least play La Tech close tomorrow. An upset would be grand.
