Thanks to the Big 12 conference and Fox Sports for making the deal to show all of the quarterfinal games today. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Unbelievable that Fox in Dallas has their main SW announcers doing a 30 minute show between games with TCU coach Mitte as an analyst and talking about nothing but B12 wcbb!

Wow. Exclusive exposure on TV for women's basketball in prime time. Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming.

Did they show the Colorado/Iowa State game in Texas and Oklahoma?
They DID NOT show it here in Kansas City.....after I took all that care to work out that plan...spending $15 extra bucks to get really, really good seats for the 1st session and selling my 2nd session tickets (was too tired to keep going)......
I did see the BU/TTU game from the restaurant and hotel, but NO
Iowa State/Colorado game here in KC.

All 4 games were shown in Norman, OK. Great game last night, first one down to the wire. You could tell ISU was getting a boost from their large following in Hilton South.

BUT, will they be there next year in Dallas? Or will Texas and Tech and Baylor flood the place?

Schooner, having watched many SWC Tourneys at Reunion, I can safely say that UT, Tech, and BU will definitely flood the place. Keep in mind that the D/FW metroplex has more alumni of Big 12 schools than any other area. So hopefully we'll see everyone well represented next year.

On another note an ISU fan mentioned that there is also an ISU men's game going on at the same time as BU-ISU, so they might have not have quite as big of a crowd as usual. At least that's what I'm hoping for. It was good to see a pretty large BU contingent with prime seats for the Tech game last night.

C'mon folks. We all agreed the B12 sports website is just awful.

Now, when the conference does something right, like getting the broadcast of B12 wbb on Saturdays and Sundays during the season and showing all the quarterfinal tournament games in certain markets, let's be verbal and give some credit.

I agree with you, DblT. It was great to see the number of games on the tube for this year's tourney. Although I wish I hadn't seen UT/KSU, if you know what I mean. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

The great part about losing is that you can now truly enjoy watching the rest of the tournament. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif Of course, winning is good too...
