41-33 BU at the half. Lambert is making Tech looks like a bunch of clowns out there.

What a crock! This is the same officiating crew that did the Tech-New Mexico game and they were not too much in favor of Tech. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif (I can't stand the black woman with the looooong hair. She's about the worst besides Sally Bell). Well, it is 41-33 BU and I'm glad Lambert is gone after this year!

The only thing the announcers noted about the officiating is the reason BU is getting so many free throws is b/c BU is being the aggressor, and there's no question about that.

Well, I'm gonna do a Pat Summitt and say that the discretion is tooooooo much. BU has I think 16 attempts and Tech has 5. I expect Tech's number to go up. That's just usually what happens after the half. The officials go in and talk at halftime and blah blah. Well, I'm out cause I have to go to my basketball game and dominate http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif (yeah right). http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif I'm a defensive specialist. No actually I think I'm better off coaching my girls' team rather than playing.

I am not getting the game due to a contractual conflict with the Colorado Avalanche game (those guys that won the Stanley Cup last year), and no other local station would pick up the game.

BTW, I would love to hear updates.

Also, the Colorado-Iowa State game is being carried tonight by a local religious station, KWHB (channel 53), which had the syndicated Big 12 package this year (and last).

Three out of four isn't bad - I guess.

i am not sure about a host site for my lady raiders at all...they have had a rough season, definitely, and the only thing they have shown for their season is the ability to win at home, but so have many other schools...even then, would the selection committee even dream of giving 7 host sites to the big 12, because among the seven, i think tech is least deserving...however, we are definitely a money-making draw (although philosophically speaking, that should be NO factor whatsover, in my opinion)...oh, well, that is not saying that i would complain if we did get it...i am just saying that i would definitely understand if we were a five, or even a six seed instead...

go tech

YCN

At least we got a semblance of a contest, after two absolute blowouts earlier today.

IMHO, Tech is deserving of a hosting seed.

I just don't see any teams out there that can steal it away from them.

Props to the Lady Bears for taking care of business!

aespinoza,

The Big 12 has been a total sensation this year.

I think your team is solid for a hosting gig, although I don't make the decisions.

Too much Lambert! Sheila continues to show why in my opinion, she should have been POY....Tech really missed some key opportunities...the looks were there, but the shots didn't fall and you can't lose those opportunities against a great team like Baylor.

So the seeds continue to hold.
I too believe Tech deserves a host...not the least of which is the strong support and attendance shown by the fans at the NCAAs here. But also RPI and SOS...but we'll find out on Sunday.

Congrats Baylor! While I'd prefer to see Tech in San Antonio, I would be absolutely thrilled to see y'all play in the Final 4. Keep it up and you have a darn good chance!

Tech is #2 in the nation in attendance. They will host.

Congrats to Baylor and Sheila Lambert. They countered Tech's run to go ahead and then kept pushing to put it away.

Take 'em all the way Sheila! Let's see a Bears-Sooners matchup in San Antonio!

Well, I'm back from my game (which we lost 46-36) and I got injured (knee injury http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif ). I got really happy when Tech went up while I was listening to the game in my car on the way to my game. When I left the game, I checked my cell phone for the score and I was surprised at the margin. Baylor played a great defensive team and I knew that this game would come down to defense. Baylor did a great job of forcing Tech into bad shots. Didn't get to see the last 10 min. or hear it so I can't comment on the run by Baylor. I hope they do well in the NCAA's. And KMR, sit down! hahaha. sorry...i couldn't help it. I could hear her on TV yelling! Go Lady Raiders!!

[b]Let's see a Bears-Sooners matchup in San Antonio![\b]

no kidding, Dblt...Kansas City.....then San Antonio.

You know, I kind of think OU may secretly be rooting for Iowa State to be in the finals....these seniors won't to go out in style and finally beating Iowa State AND winning the Big XII tourney.......now that would light a candle that could burn all the way until April 1.

though I suspect we are headed to a Baylor/OU finish.....
I think these 2 teams are one of the best matchups in the Big XII, heck, they are just alike and it's always a fun, nail-biting game.

KMR says she is going to ride as far as Sheila Lambert will take her. That could be far. I really hope so.
