Can someone be kind enough to post some updates of the games for those of us at work?

Please Please Please????
My wife says OU is up 24-6, and OSU looks really bad.

OU up 30-6. OU cannot do anything wrong. They could stand at halfcourt and swish half the shots they put up. Unbelievable defense by OU right now. OSU can't get a single decent shot off. Dales is on fire. I have her with I think 14 points right now 3 of 3 from 3-point line and she isn't known for her 3-point shooting.
Looking better for OSU; they hit 10.
36-10 now

Yay.
OU is on a mission.
Please keep the updates coming!
I just tried to check out the TV in our weight room. It only gets 1 channel. What a waste. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/mad.gif

42-10, OU is still pulling away and is playing with reserves. This game will really help OU play a lot of reserves and rest Dales and Company for the semifinal tomorrow night.
Dionnah is now turning it on and is in double digits.
My gosh, OU is on FIRE!
What a great time to come to play!
(Unfortunately, our database at work went down, and I was left without work to do, and no boss to tell me not to go home.)
Guess I get to watch the game after all! HOORAY!

Wow! Looks like OU really wants that 1 seed.

45-10, 5:20 left. Dionnah is now leading scorer with 17 points, Dales has 16. Here comes a lot of reserves for OU now.
45 Points in the first 14:40. Just incredible.
Chalk this one up as an OU victory.
Six games left in the tournament. All six feature a matchup between two top-20 teams.

63-28
Don't know the time; I'm getting the scores off of the Oklahoman's website. It seems to be a little ahead of Yahoo.

With 14:30 left.
What a treat to get to see the OU bench get such extensive playing time!
They almost played OSU's starting five even over the last 25 minutes, and showed great heart and hustle.

ycn, did you get to see most of the game then?
Give us a rundown please!
Jennifer, I think it was something like 37-6 when I first tuned in - what a shock!
Shortly thereafter the teams had traded two buckets apiece it seems, then OU scored twice (perhaps after turnovers) to make it 45-10 with 5:20 left in the first half. From what I gather, OU was hitting practically every shot, and their defense what absolutely stifling. They were cutting the passing lanes to steal the ball and double-teaming players on the perimeter all over the court.
That's about the time that Coach Coale mercifully called off the dogs, and started playing almost exlusively from the bench. It seemed to me like everybody scored at least a bucket. Dionnah Jackson was a force whenever she was in the game, and scored 23 points. Stacey Dales teamed with Jackson to do the most damage, and I believe scored over 20 herself, hitting something like 8-10 from the field, including about 3-4 threes.
Stephanie Luce was the court general during mop-up time, when OU's reserves hustled like crazy, and despite not shooting particularly well, getting the majority of rebounds and lots of turnovers from the Cowgirls. It was almost like our players were STRONGER than theirs, as a lot of potential tied balls were literally slapped or ripped from the hands of the OSU starters.
Kate Scott, Shannon Selmon, Stephanie Simon, and Lauren Shoush all saw very extensive playing time, and were mostly effective while they were in. There were the usual ill-advised shots, but the ball motion and all-over-the-court hustle were notable. I think Simon hit maybe her 2nd three of the season, and I know that Shannon got at least one as well.
Perhaps for me the most humorous moment was when little Stephanie Luce fouled (I believe) Skibbe while trying to block a shot from behind, by landing on her back. All in all it was greatly enjoyed by me, although the reserves are going to need to put on a lot of polish between now and next year if OU expects to even come close to their performance level of this year in 2002-2003. We are getting a bunch of outstanding recruits in next year, and it wouldn't surprise me if OU started as many as three or more freshmen at some point next year.
So it looks like the starters will be playing less than 2-1/2 games in the tournament now, because they were so devastating for 15 minutes they weren't even needed the rest of the game.

Thanks for the info, YCN. It's great that everyone got to play extended minutes.
Even though the reserves may not look very polished, I hate to base any thoughts on future performance on mop up time. Once they get more 'real' experience, the nerves will settle down and their skills can shine (I say this from the experience of being a mop up player myself my frosh year of college on a 17-13 team and then being a starter my soph year on a 21-7 team).
I'm sure at least several of next year's recruits will make an impact immediately and it will be fun to watch.

Finally, a box score.

I though for sure Shannon Selmon had a three, maybe she was just inside the circle?

OU's top 6 averaged less than 20 minutes.
They should be good and rested for tomorrow. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
How about D. Jackson's line? 11-15, wow!
I think she reached her sophomore year just a bit early.

Look out. The sooners are boom'in. I saw only a little of this game. OU just overwhelmed OSU early and the cowgirls never even got in the game. Dionnah Jackson is totally impressive.
