View Full Version : WNIT
I figure OSU is a shoo-in for the WNIT. Does Missouri (14-14, 5-11) have a shot?

Again you have to speculate what whoever runs the WNIT wants. Missouri is from the toughest conference and went to the sweet 16 last year. Maybe on just those two things, they would be wanted in the WNIT.

WCH.com has a good interview with a head guy with WNIT. He said the conference doesn't matter and to even be considered to go you have to have at least a .500 record. Go read it, it was very informative! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

I would think that the WNIT would want to glom onto the glamour (yes, glamour) of the Big 12 this year and take both Missouri and Oklahoma State. Being 8-9 in the best conference in the land fits right into the WNIT profile.
According to the article I read, any team that doesn't have a .500 record in both the conference and overall doesn't qualify.
That's too bad if true.

Not true cause OSU had a sub .500 last year and went to it.
