On the one hand, I believe individuals have a right to privacy about their health. (Besides, it's the law: HIPPA says so).

On the other hand, news releases that say so little just pique my curiosity.

She can sign a release if she wants to. I guess she just prefers to keep it private. Can't blame her for that.

Yes, she can release any of her own personal medical information that she wants to and could authorize its release through anyone else if she were to chose to do so.
