View Full Version : Birmingham-Southern at Kansas
KU continues their undefeated march through a long string of home games...
Gametracker shows them up 29-16 with 3:14 left in the first half against Birmingham-Southern College.
Crystal Kemp leads their scoring with 8 points on 4-6 from the field. Taylor McIntosh and Erica Hallman both have 7 points, and McIntosh has 5 rebounds.
Kansas is leading 37-25 at halftime. It's starting to look good for a possible sweep of tonight's games, with Mizzou's win in the bank and the two Kansas teams holding double-digit leads.
Starting to look like Kansas can put this one in the win column. Leading 54-32 with 11:56 remaining.
The KU starters have combined for 48 of their points. Could bench scoring be a problem for this team in the future?
Say goodnight to the Birmingham-Southern Panthers. KU leads 65-38 with 7:56 left in the game.

KU up 72-50 with 4 seconds left on the gametracker (imagine that, the gametracker froze).
Hallman led with 19 points, including 6-8 on threes. Kemp had 12 points and Brown had 10. McIntosh had 9 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Catic had 10 points and 4 turnovers. Catic is one I am interested in seeing play sometime.
Now some team stats. The team was 9-15 on threes :) but only 7-17 on free throws
Outshooting yourself from beyond the arc versus at the free throw line is a good thing, not bad. REPEAT, GOOD THING!
Funny how that tracker thingy kinda stuck right at :04 left. Do you suppose KU won? Nah, they probably let BSU score about 22 points in 4 seconds.
I really like our chances of a Big 12 sweep tonight. Look for Baylor to be #1 or #2 in the currently fluxing RPI tomorrow...
Good win KU. Keep up the roll. Bonnie ball is coming together. :ku:
