dang.....9 second half fouls. Does KSU really foul like this??
I like it that K-State is being agressive but I hope they learn to avoid some of those fouls. They now have nine second half fouls.

No, its just that Wyoming plays courteous ball, unlike those ruffians from Kansas.

Wow, that's high altitude. Last time I was in the Colo Rockies, I would get gassed walking uphill.
They are getting away with it, Wy. is 11-21 from the stripe so it's not hurting them.
Goggins with her fourth foul. It sounds like it was a legit call. Some of the others? Who knows. The PBP guy has said some were on a "straight up" defensive play.
58-48 KSU with about 3 minutes left.
Now 58-49. Wyoming already has 5 second half fouls. 2:35 left

There is no way fouls should be that lopsided unless the team with the disproportionate majority is physically getting whipped. I doubt that is the case tonight.

uh oh; (theme song to Twilight Zone plays in the background) this is sounding SO MUCH like OU's game the other nite.
Hamlin fouls out with 2:04 left
Now 58-53 with 1:35 left
Now 60-55 KSU ball with 42.5 seconds left
Wyoming had to foul twice. There is some justice!
KSU (Coggins) hit the foul shots. 62-55 22.5 left
Final 65-55 Wildcats! Coggins is high scorer.

Way to hang, purple girls. :)
Wow, JoAnn Hamlin had a double double in 17 minutes.
Claire Coggins had an awesome game.
There was a small environment change from Santa Clara to Laramie. More or less sea level to 7,200 ft. And the outside temp was a wind chill of minus 14 or some such.
KSU 65, Wyoming 55
Reb KSU 45, W 25
KSU shot 51% but had 21 turnovers. Some on offensive fouls.
Coggins 23 points, 5 reb
Wheeler 6 pts, 2 blocks
McFarland 10 points on 4-5 shooting, 2 rebs
Dietz 8 points 3 assists
Hamlin 10 points on 5-7, 10 rebs in as SWOK34 said, 17 minutes (four fouls)
I missed Gipson's stats but around the 13 minute mark she had 6 points and 7 rebs.
GO Wildcats!! :ksu:
Just for fun I looked up the altitude claimed for the "Arena-Auditorium" by Wyoming. It was the same 7,220 ft. that was in the K-State press release. Could there be some "height inflation" of another sort going on here?

It's a different leading scorer every night for these young gals..........First hamlin, then Dietz, and know Coggins.
After 3 games.......here's the averages.......

Coggins........13.0
Dietz...............12.3
McIntyre.......12.0
Lehning............8.0
McFarland......8.0
Gipson...............6.0
Wheeler............5.3
Outscoring opponents by an avg 85-60 so far.
I love this team.............watch out Big 12 !!!

Jimi, I went to Laramie in 1999 and watched the Huskers tangle with Cindy Fisher's Wyoming Cowgirls and 7,220 is probably the altitude of the auditorium. FYI; the Wyoming campus and arena is in the east part of the Laramie and that part of town is 24 feet higher than the west end of town. :D
