Gahan is in the top 10 in 8 of the 12 statistical categories on the Big XII website (3FG, 3FG%, Assists, A/TO, Def Reb, Tot Reb, FT%, Steals), and the top 15 in two others (FG%, Scoring). The only ones she does not appear in are blocks and offensive rebounds.

Wow, hadn't taken the time to look that up. In the Top 10 of that many categories and yet not in the Top 10 in conference according to the coaches. Wake up coaches.

I'm a bit surprised by the coaches because they will all at some point mention that so and so should be a first teamer or so and so should by FOY or POY. And yet when it comes time to make picks, they appear that they don't care.
