Pegram had her way inside against the Vandals, who are much shorter but pretty quick. Budke obviously did not want Faurholt to beat the Cowgirls, denied and face guarded her all night-what Flanagan likes to call nose to nose whereever she goes. Some of the younger Idaho players made some big shots to bring the Vandals back. Three at the buzzer looked like it was going down but came back up. Turner and Mitchell had quite a battle at PG.
I remember listening last year and Hood was starting at post. She only got a couple mimutes tonight-the inside has been upgraded.
The Lobos beat a pesky, tough playing Marist team. They had previously lost to Villanova by four. Camara is a good player for them. Flan didn't use much bench the second half. Three starters played 36+ minutes. See how that effects them tonight. OSU has a nice little contingent of fans here for the games.
