The Big 10 and the SEC are both going on now, both having played their 1st round games yesterday.......here are a couple of links for anyone interested. Both sites have live stat's, though I found the SEC's really hard to follow. Haven't kept up with any of the Big 10's.

I believe that the Pac-10 and the ACC and the Big East all start today or tomorrow...........we really are one of the last to play out our games.

Hey Swok - thanks for the live stat sites - it gives me something to do while I'm at work - right now I'm trying to figure out the SEC site and Iowa/Indiana are in overtime

sooner, I think it's hard to keep up with the game on either site...I really have gotten spoiled on the yahoo live stats page.

I work with a computer program that does not allow me to just pop up a window to view what's going on......now why does it seem that every time I am on the live stats page and not in the steel program, the boss walks in....... http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

The Mountain West Conf. starts tourney plan on March 6. Colorado State will likely get the 1 seed. UNLV, UNM, and BYU are all vying for seeding. CSU and UNM play today.

LSU just knocked off Tennesse! They kept saying they only have 6 players. Does anybody know what the deal is? It was a good game.

Right down to the wire! I was following on live stats. Six players... LSU or Tennessee?

LSU has been short of players all year...Colorado took advantage of that here in the USA.

Arkansas is leading Vandy 44-26 at half time

Making the upset more shocking was that LSU played only six players and had only seven dressed. Coach Sue Gunter had lost three players to torn ACLs during the season, while a fourth player sat out the season to heal from injuries

Hmmmmm, does this remind you of a Big XII team?.....and I don't believe LSU has a player over 6'-0...wow, is Oklahoma down in Nashville playing and no told us about it?

I think this game came down to a steal and a basket for LSU (either that or free throws); it was tied at 18 seconds and Tennessee had the ball.

Make that Vandy leading Arkansas (the realtime stats have the wrong score with the logos).

Actually Vandy is up 63 to 57 with 9 or so in the 2nd half

Vandy pulls it out 81 to 78. Arkansas was down 22 pts at one time, Christon had 40 pts and almost got the tie at the buzzer.

So Vandy takes on LSU for the SEC title. Interesting...early in the year Vandy lost to TTU and LSU lost to Colorado.

Purdue lost to unranked Indiana 41 to 55. Indiana wait for the game between Wisconsin (who beat Minnesota) and Penn St.

Arizona State beat Oregon to advance to the PAC 10

LSU gave it all it had, with it's 6 players. Think they ran out of gas; I was really impressed with their 5'-3 point guard, I think she's only a freshmen or a sophomore..

but Vanderbilt got their tourney title after losing with .08 seconds left last year.

I think Duke looked tired in the 2nd half vs Virginia, though I thought the game was really good, Duke is in tomorrow's final vs. North Carolina.

Stanford, rather, Nicole Powell beat Oregon State today and will play in the PAC-10 final vs Arizona State.

ok, I've watched tooooo much out of conference basketball today, this is the final edit.
