Sorry, at this point there is no story, just a box score. I am sure okstate.com will hook me up with a one paragraph review soon.....

Oklahoma State 86, Panhandle State 43
Whitney Pegram: 22 points 9 rebounds
Destanie Sykes: 21 points 10 rebounds
Shaunte Smith: 10 points 13 rebounds (This girl is good! I don't think she got the attention she deserved because there are so many talented freshmen in the Big 12 this year. I am really looking forward to the days when other fans in the conference get to see her play. She is quickly becoming my favorite.)
Catherria Turner: 8 points 10 assists
But my favorite number of the night is:
Attendance: 3,423
I realize that alot of that has to do with the fact that the they were playing a double-header with the men's team, but it was still so nice to see the student sections full during the women's game. It was also nice to hear people say, "Whoa! They look alot better than the last time I watched them." I think the biggest difference this year is that the Cowgirls have players that WANT TO SHOOT THE BALL. It isn't just about running plays to try to get an open shot for Conder/Stone/Skibbe anymore.
